Scotsdale Nursery & Garden Centre

Excellent value for garden plants and pots, also some other pretty things inside to browse through!

I have bought many things from Scotsdales, such as woodchip, soil, gloves, plants, flowers and tools, but easily my favourite and bestest purchase was a little stone buddha that sits in our garden.
When the sun is out I sit on the bench with a cup of tea and look at the buddha and feel pleased.

This garden center has been here for years and it just gets better and better, I wont go on about the plants and the usual stuff for a garden center as everyone does that, instead I shall tell you of my experience off the mechanical dept. I needed a new chain for my chain saw and so I took the old thing in there on a Sunday afternoon not expecting to get a result but instead I found a very helpful knowledgeable old chap who just by seeing the manual for the saw, straight away found a chain that would be a perfect fit and also some care tips for the saw without making me feel like a child. Very helpful and I shall return soon.

This is a fantastic garden centre. they have a large inside area, and an even larger outside area. They sell many plants, shrubs, trees. THere are a good range of pots — some of which are gigantic! There is an animal section where they stock baby rabbits and guinea pigs, they also have a few birds, rats, hamsters, gerbils. There is a good size fish section, and also tropical fish department (this is currently being refurbished). They have a good range of outdoor furniture, and at christmas their display is fantastic (a bit pricey), with many classy decorations and little gifts. There is a santas grotto which is definately worth a visit. The prices in general are towards the higher end, but they do sell good quality items — and as with most things you get what you pay for!

Great garden centre, seems to get better, pity it’s so far from me, but I enjoy it when visiting my cousin.

One of the best garden centres in teh area with a wide selection of plants for both indoors and outdoors with books care advice etc as well. Huge Christmas selections and a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy a great reasonably priced meal or justa cup of tea. Great for all.
