My favorite playground. Lots of great activities with pirate ships, several slides and swings. We love to walk there along the Cam.

Lammas Land is my six-year old’s favourite play park in Cambridge and, let’s face it, what’s not to like whether you are a child or parent ? There are lots of swings and rides, it’s in the fresh air, so they can run around and tire themselves out, less chance of picking up bugs and germs than at, say, an indoor play area, it’s easily accessible by car(although you sometimes have to be a little creative about parking) and moreover it’s free ! There’s the river nearby for feeding ducks and plenty of open space for kicking a ball around or flying a kite. Get the little ones to cycle there and they will be even more tired after a visit — result !

It’s the best park for kids in Cambridge. There’s lots of swings, slides and climbing frames to play on, in the summer there’s a nice paddling pool. You can buy ice cream ad coffee at the kiosk. There’s lots of shady trees, easy parking, toilets and a river where you can feed the ducks and geese. Close by there’s a free swimming pool open in the summer only, and a nice little nature reserve. There’s a couple of shops in nearby Newnham where you can get picnic stuff.
