I live in the next village up (Cottenham) but I travel to Histon to buy chips from here. It’s that good. Great Chinese takeaways as well.

I remember having pretty good fish and chips here last time but the quality of the fish was not as good this time around. The breading was too thick and oily. It either fell off or I had to peel it off because it was so greasy. Guess I’ll be looking for another chippy for my next visit.

this place had so much memory — a girl who worked there and belonged to the Chinese family who owns the restaurant. During her teenage she worked there in weekends, and then she became very famous in hong kong through acting, but died very young at the age of 26. Barbara Yung! Google her and see who she is.

Best chippy in cambridge and by far the best chips for miles around! Don’t bother with the Chinese food, it is not that great. But the fish is good and fresh, the batter perfect, and the chips are excellent.

Great chippy and chinese menu. There are acouple of things to note about this place. The chippy is one of the few place I have seen most thigs done in batter. Fishcakes (in breadcrumb first) in batter and the best onion rings in the town. On the chinese side I fully recommend the chicken in chilli pepper. It is very differnt and something you rarely see.
