Very disappointed with this place! We came to eat her in January. I ordered a stuffed pasta. Other tables came and went and we were still waiting for our food. After about an hour our food finally came but my pasta was way too salty to eat. The staff were very apologetic and offered to make me a new one but we had waited too long already with our toddler who was getting restless and left. The rest of the pasta dishes at our table were ok.

I have to admit that I love Antonio Carluccio! I have his cook book and I watch him on television which, considering I am only 21, may seem odd to some people. The bottom line is I love to cook and I find him to be a great chef and also a very funny old man. When I arrived at Carluccio’s for the very first time I had the mushroom risotto which, if being totally honest, was not the best I have ever tasted. In the defence of my beloved Carluccio I had been to Cotto the night before and had the same thing so maybe I was just being a little too expectant. After a few more visits I was a lot more satisfied and very happy indeed. Breakfast is exceptionally good and what I love most about Carluccio’s is that you can by produce before or after or during your meal! The list is fairly endless on what is available to buy, I especially love the pasta and amaretto biscuits. If you like Italian food then Carluccio’s in Cambridge is a must!
