Bruno’s Brasserie immediately stands out as the most stylish Mediterranean/English restaurant in the city centre. The well laid out table, sparkling glasses and polished cutleries all arranged meticulously adds to the stylish appearance of the restaurant. We booked our table at the restaurant’s private garden on a summer evening, as the weather was good enough to enjoy your meal outdoor even in the evening. the garden was located just behind the restaurant, this meant we had some privacy and there was a continental feel of eating outside. We sipped our drink as we waited for our meal. The servings were large and we were able to share some of them. Their oven-roasted partridge was the best and the chocolate fondant was nothing like I have ever tasted. We even had the opportunity to view paintings done by local artist and they were truly beautiful. The food I must say was very expensive, one of the main dishes(oven roasted partridge with celeriac purée braised kale and parsnip crisp) cost as much as £16.50, but we got good discount as a group and we were able to share some of the food saving us some money. The service was second-to-none, with friendly staffs and tasty food.
