My family and I had a great time touring the brewery. Susan our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. That was the most fun I had on a brewery tour ever. Susan is witty and entertaining, even danced the hula for us. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are interested in how beer is made and the rich history of Greene King Brewery. I enjoyed the beer tasting at the end too. Thanks again Susan for a great evening.

My husband and I have gone here to tour with friends and family 4+ times, every time is different and we learn something new. They have a pub that you can rent for a provate party with a private bartender. All staff is very knowledgable about the beer and the new craft section is fun and interesting to learn about. The entire tour was repainted in October 2013, I believe when they started their craft beer section of the brewery. One of the most popular brewers in England.

I have been on the brewery tour at least 4 times. Make sure you budget some time to see the museum before the tour(or after if you haven’t hit the tasting session too hard). The shop is pretty good too for Greene King merchandise; I had a bottle opener from here on my keyring for about 5 years once. Great tour of this unique and historic gravity-fed brewery. Whatever your opinion of their recent acquisitions and current volume of output, Greene King still make some quality beers in an amazing town centre location. Every resident of or visitor to Bury should see the view from the top of the brewery; even more spectacular now the cathedral has been finished. There is a wonderful tasting at the end of the tour, where you can sample everything that they make on cask in a small bar, all perfectly fresh and in condition. Not to be missed!
