Some very good bargains to be found at this sprawling antiques shop in the heart of Burford’s High Street. I have bought a few old postcards and prints, and a gorgeous extendible table that I use as a desk. Well worth a visit.

This is a really good antique centre with a number of stands selling a variety of antiques. There is usually an area with French antiques — screens, baskets, linen etc, all of which are reasonably priced. Throughout the rest of the building you’ll find big and small pieces of furniture, lots of ceramics, paintings, glass, linen, textiles and jewellery. The staff are helpful and you can also pay by credit card. It’s over three floors in total so you can spend quite a bit of time in it, I always find several things I want to buy and the contents range from very fine pieces to quite rustic objects like an old wooden wine case I bought there.
