I had one goal and one goal only: My first meal in London would be fish and chips. That didn’t happen but I was able to make it my second.
After dropping off our bags my friend took us over to Tom Bell’s because it was open late and he said it was the best. I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t think I’d like fried cod but I was wrong. It was yummy.
I think the piece of fish was about the size of my forearm and there was about a pound of fries – err – chips along with it.
The only drawback was that the piece of fish was massive which meant that after the seasoned skin there was just tons of fish. I ended up eating here a few more times before I left though.
