This is a fantastic waterside pub. Despite the fact that it is a Thorley, it feels real and they have local ale. Wow. Just wow. This community(Broadstairs) is the best place to go to the sea.

situated really close to the beach, can be quite lively on balmy summer days. Plastic glasses if you want to take your drink and venture out onto the sand. A good place to dump a loved one, as not near any cliffs!!!

Really nice pub — wait until it is a stormy night and venture into this pub and feel the real pub — 100% perfect

I eat here recently & it was excellent. I had a fish pie thingy with cheese and was mightily impressed. Quality pub fayre with old fashioned service and lovely views over sandy Viking Bay. This town is really special, it can’t have changed in decades! Think Cornwall or a 1950s time warp. Just don’t tell the Sunday Supplement writers…

A great historic pub right on the seafront. Very cosy and atmospheric. Drinks offering is average but some beer(as opposed to lager) is available. Sometimes has live music, especially during thr annual Broadstairs Folk Week in August. I have not yet eaten there but have heard good things.

This is my Fathers favourite place in Broadstairs. It is located just near the pier and from the restaurant upstairs has great views over the sea. The restaurant is well known for its fabulous seafood and it’s sunday lunch is brilliant. It welcomes children too!

Very cosy pub with a seafood restaurant. As you walk out of the pub, you are almost on the beach.
