This is an excellent school mainly serving children from Paignton, Brixham and Dartmouth but some children travel much further.
It is a mixed grammar school, which is quite unusual. It is situated next to Churston Station which is on the Paignton to Dartmouth Steamrailway. If you are travelling on the railway on a school day you will often see the pupils in the grounds in their navy blue uniforms. The grounds are lovely and it is an excellent location. The school was built in the 1950s and seems to be constantly having bits added.
The school achives excellent results and its Ofsted report rated it as Outstanding in all areas.
