Wok Inn

This is a quick and snappy Chinese restaurant delivering the efficient yet tasty food of a good takeaway place within a restaurant. That is to say, it’s not restaurant food but takeaway food.
The sit down choices inside are all seemingly based around the takeaway menu offering any meal plus rice for a fiver. I actually quite like the ‘cut and paste’ slapped together vibe. It’s more authentic; many restaurants in Asia not being fancy shiny venues but a quick refuelling stop.
You can obviously get a takeaway here too but not that late into the night. If it’s a quick one stop you want, with a taste of Chinese on your tongue — you can do a lot worse.

When i go and visit my friends in Fishponds, chances are we end up taking ourselves down to the Wok Inn and pick up a cheeky little chinese take-​away for dinner and i’ll tell you what, I always secretly hope that they will offer up a visit to this place because it has to be one of the tastiest I have experienced since my move to Brizzle! For years I was adamant that my local chinese take-​away back in my hometown was the best that you could get, this has even led to a few heated debates amongst myself and fellow friends from across the country each standing up for their own local chinese take-​away and i feel now that i may have to start batting for another team! The only difference is that as of yet i have not walked into the Wok (as i like to call it) and automatically had my ‘usual’ order taken down by the lovely people that work there — but i’m sure that the time will come in the not too distant future!

Probably one of the best chinese resteraunts in Fishponds.
I’ve got a friend who swears by this place, and wont get a takeaway from anywhere else, always adament that this is the one place everyone should get there chinese from… this can pose quite a big problem, especialy when we are visiting our friends in south Bedminster!
The eat in option is nice, it’s decorated very tastefully and you feel like you should be spending more than you are (which is always the best way round to do it!). Food is a great quality, you can tell you know what they are doing.
