Wildlife Photographer Year 2011

This exhibition is visiting Bristol from now till 5 June 2011, according to the material I have seen. It’s wonderful to see these incredible images and visit again and again. Going to an exhibition like this could open the world of wildlife to you, with images taken from exotic places and this country alike. Prepare to oo and ah all the while. And be prepared to feel and think too. All stories demonstrate how amazing this world is a few may well inspire shame at our human handling of it. There is one portfolio of, for me, distressing images of the ways our brothers are exploiting beautiful wild creatures for financial gain. Being prepared may not be a bad thing. And if you are going with children, it may be good to be fore-​warned. Next to this portfolio is a captivating, enchanting one of a house in woods being taken over by the squirrels and badgers there. Magic!
