I’ve have used VW Services for my last two vehicles (Mk4 VW Golf and a Skoda Octavia) and found them to be very friendly, fair and honest.
After a recent MOT they quoted very reasonable prices for the work it needed to pass and, surprisingly, a good price for a tyre that needed replacing.
They have been quite happy to fit parts that I have provided for them and, unlike a lot of other garages I have used in the past, are very prompt to call me when the work is done, leaving messages when I have not been able to answer the call.
In my experience I find them very knowledgeable and will continue to use them for MOTs, servicing and repairs while I own a VAG car.

Friendly and Efficient. Had my only work van in for a new clutch they were very quick to diagnose the problem and change the clutch so wasn’t out of work for long. Definately use again.

They are good at cheap labour, i. e 30 pounds/​hr before VAT. But only use them if you know where the problem is. Because they even charge 1 hour labour for checks!

Good value VW workshop.
They don’t take long to do the work, and they don’t con you with high labour costs. £36/​hour is pretty good IMO.
Not had any problems getting work done here, and they’re happy to let you leave your car in the forecourt overnight if you get recovered by someone eg RAC.
