Clean and well run gym. Doesn’t do spin class but does have spin bikes with computer based classes

Does what it says on the tin. Great prices, great value, great workouts and I can see it from my home. What could be better. Also they have a range of protein bars and water, also drinks to choose from. Not to mention the latest state of the art equipment and elite trainers on hand. I also partake in Pilates now from time to time which kills me but is awesome. As a busy entrepreneur I only have a certain amount of time and this ticks all the boxes I need. Great value for money. :)

Great airy feeling and large windows to look out on the busy city space.
Motivational dance/​house and chart music played without being cheesy at all, in my opinion.
Good selection of weights and gym equipment to get stuck into.
The best thing about it is the people — mostly young, average age is 26 at The Gym. And all the personal trainers are very friendly and happy to help and have a chat.
The only thing is that it can get quite busy as it is so popular –my tip is to go on the weekend when it is much quieter!

The Gym is based bang opposite McDonald’s, so if you’re on one of the treadmills it feels like you’re running towards it — which, I suppose, could be good motivation for some!
The Gym is cheap and cheerful, well, maybe not cheerful, but it is cheap! £16 a month gives you: new cardio machines, new weight machines, free weights and 3 free classes a day.
They constantly have at least one cleaner cleaning the machines, floors and changing rooms. The place is very clean and changing rooms are just fine. But you will need to bring your own lock for the lockers.
As with any gym it does get busy at peak times: 12 – 2 and 5 – 7.30. But it isn’t any worse than other gyms I’ve been too.
The free classes are OK, but they take place on the top floor in a cordoned off area. They aren’t in their own room.
£16 well spent in my eyes!
