The Curry Centre

The Curry Centre has some tough competition in the form of nearby Ali Baba’s 40 Dishes. Although curry prices here are on average slightly cheaper, the quality of the food doesn’t compare to Ali Baba’s. Nevertheless, I’ve sampled a Chicken Pasanda from The Curry Centre, and it certainly did the job. The meat was cooked well and the dish was relatively flavoursome. My garlic naan, however, was rather flimsy and I know how important quality naan bread can be to those passionate about Indian food.
If you spend over a certain amount here, you’ll be honoured with a free dish to pass on to your poor, skint mate (if you’re that way inclined). The Curry Centre also offers a delivery service, which is free if you spend over a certain amount.

The Curry Centre offers a variety of traditional Indian takeaway dishes at it’s shop on Bedminster’s West Street. As well as the curries on offer there is also a good number of ‘Tasty Starters’ which among others include ‘Onion Bhaji’, ‘Sheek Kebab’ and ‘King Prawn Butterfly’, the latter sounding the most appetizing to me! There are also a selection of ‘Fresh Vegetable (Side Dishes)’ and ‘IOndian Sundries’ available to order as well as the usual soft drinks. On top of all this The Curry Centre also offers Set Meals for 1 — 4 people, all of which are well priced and very good value for money.
The take-​away also offers free delivery for orders over £12:50, whilst juxtaposing this is a 10% discount on all orders over £10 which are collected in person. As well as this The Curry Centre runs a special offer on oders over £10 where they will throw in a free portion of Bombay Aloo — making this quite a good choice for those looking for a bargain!

This place is fantastic for curries, good range and a good price.
They offer fair sized portions that taste great. If you spend over so much you get a free portion of bombay aloo which is not massive but for a free extra its pretty good all the same.
They do a delivery service that has never been late yet and is free if you spend a certain amount.
I highly recommend this indian takeaway over others. I have tried others on numerous occasions but always come back here, knowing its a safe bet.
