Main meal prices are expensive for a chain restaurant. The last 2 times I have eaten here I have had issues. Once the steak was inedible… 90% gristle, the next time the ribs and chicken came out on a plate so dirty I could feel the lumps on the bottom of the plate (i did get a refund)
The staff turnaround seems to be so rapid I have never seen the same staff member twice despite spending a good few occasions in here just for drinks.
There are much better chain options within 5minutes.

Only been here once and not sure I would go again, only as it doesn’t top my list of favourites. Not a bad place to relax and eat tho.
This beefeater is in a nice location. The food was ok not the best I have had. I would say for myself it was an average meal.
I like the idea of bottomless chips, it means all you can eat chips what a great idea !
The staff were friendly, food was on the table within 10 mins which is quick but it then again it was not busy.
There is a lot to choose from on the menu, gives the family a lot of options.
Overall not a bad place for food, not a favourite of mine but I guess it’s worth a visit once.

I have only ever eaten here once so I don’t like to judge too much.
The restaurant itself is ok but definitely nothing write home about & I just say the food was pretty average.
I ordered a chicken burger which came with ‘bottomless chips’ Burger was ok, but just an unseasoned butterfly breast in a bun with lettuce & a huge tomato. The bottomless chips are quite a good idea, although I’m not sure how many chips I could eat in one session. It’s good for people with a big appetite though.
The staff were nice and put up with my toddler throwing food everywhere (oops)
It wasn’t one of the worst places I’ve eaten but definitely not the best.

Ok so we went here for a meal and it was not great. We ordered at the bar and decided to share a combo to start with and then have a steak. After over half an hour the steaks arrived. We told the waitress that we had ordered a combo to share to start and she just said it had not been on the order as a starter. She took the steaks back and brought out the combo which was really nice.
Three quaters of an hour later she brought out the steaks now I dont know about you but medium to rare steak is not usually cooked right through and the other steak that was well done looked dried right up as did the rest of it. They had re-​heated the meals due to the problem with the starter. My OH complained and so the lady who was cooking said they would cook fresh for us.
Half an hour later we heard her tell the bar maid to keep an eye on the food for our table that was cooking as she left the kitchen. So the barmaid cooked and served it to us. It was nice when it arrived but
Nearly 3 hours for a meal
Its one thing making a mistake with an order but re-​heating and trying to save money is a big No (especially with medium rare fillet steak)
No appology or any effort made to put it right
So NO we wont go again If I wanted a barmaid to cook me a meal I’d go to a pub not a restaurant.

This is a chain restaurant so if you like standard fare from a set menu then it’s OK. In recent visits they have run out of basic ingredients like steak and sausages. Free parking.
If this is not for you then try the Langley Arms which is just a stone’s throw away.

This is a favourite of mine as it’s really good for family meals. We have two little ones and they are really well looked after, often getting balloons.
The food is always good here and we’ve celebrated many birthdays here.

This is a restaurant that I have visiting many many times and keep going back as I really enjoy it, as does all my family. We have had parties here aswell and always been pleased with the standard of food and service. I have never had a complaint here out of all the times I have been. They have a lovely menu with plenty to choose from and usually I can’t make up my mind what to have as it all sounds nice. The staff are all really friendly and give a really good service.
