Small St Espresso

Great coffee and delicious moist cakes. A very intimate and personal relaxed atmosphere aswell. Nicely decorated and will be going back. Great for as I am just down the road so very convenient and it is quiet enough to connect with others.

Fantastic coffee and cakes. Well worth the trek from the shopping centre. This man knows exactly how to make a flat white coffee at the correct temperature. Definitely worth a return visit next time we’re in Bristol.

Best latte I’ve ever had! Fact!
I arrived yesterday about half an hour early for a meeting, so I threw my bag down and studied the pretty extensive menu. I’d not been here before, so went with my normal Latte order to see how it compared to my other favorites. It came in a glass without a handle and looked perfect, so I was really looking forward to trying it.
I sat down on one of their small but surprisingly conformable wooden table and stools, had my first sip and — BOOM! Absolute taste sensation! Seriously, this is the best coffee I’ve ever had; and I’ve travelled South America! I’m not a coffee connoisseur, so I can’t say if it was a dry, dark, sweet or had hints of mahogany to it. What I can say it that I almost wanted to down it, it was so good!
While I was waiting for my meeting to arrive I was listening in to the guys behind the counter. They were taking about doing a 28day brew and were discussing other coffee stuff with customers; they really knew their stuff!
On the counter were some lovely looking cakes and pastries. I didn’t have any but I’ll definitely try some when I go back.
This is a fantastic little coffee shop ran by coffee enthusiast — and the results speak for themselves. Best coffee in Bristol? In my eyes, definitely!

Fantastic place, such friendly guys. Bought a lot of coffee from them over several months and they know their stuff. Look out for varying guest roasts, most appear to be local roasters which is a bonus. Harts bakery cakes as well, a welcome treat. If you’re in the centre take the time to visit this place you won’t be disappointed as its some of the best coffee in Bristol.

This is a nice, neat coffee bar on a relatively quiet street in Bristol, stylish and small. The décor is great: hanging light bulbs, wood block furniture, dark tiles and silver piping on red brick walls. Our cappuccinos (£2.30 each) were tasty (though it was hard to tell the difference between a normal and a dry), and much of the food is supplied by the excellent Hart’s Bakery. We didn’t buy any pastries because there was a big fly sitting on top of one of them, which kind of puts you off! We look forward to going back soon and getting a good feel for the place, alternating with the friendly Full Court Press around the corner.

Great little coffee bar in the heart of Bristol specialising in Espresso. Much in the vein of the boutique coffee bars of New York, Berlin, and Melbourne, it’s a great place to kick back and enjoy a (very reasonably-​priced) «cup of joe» and watch the world go by the windows. Keep your eyes peeled for their ever-​changing selection of guest coffee roasts and cakes!
