It’s not huge but it’s well stocked generally, 25% off of clothes on bank holiday weekends is nice ! Small café is a bit rubbish

And as a massive store I think it would be better looked into who not doing there job properly! Café if anyone been in there is ok would not say amazing there one lady there who got a voice that go straight throw u as is so loud So for this reason I won’t be going back even if they offered me free shopping

Normally good but currently not in my good books they refused me alcohol as I had no Id but given that I’m 39 and was buying alcohol as part of a big weekly shop(most 17 year olds probably wouldn’t disguise alcohol purchase by spending 80 quid on groceries ?!) I think this was seriously over zealous and very inconvenient.

I never used to shop in Sainsbury’s until I moved to Bristol because I was always told how expensive they were, but this one isn’t far from my house, so due more in part to my idleness it has become my local. If it was expensive, believe me, I wouldn’t shop here, but what I’ve found over the past few years is that it really isn’t that expensive at all. In fact, if you shop sensibly at this store it actually works out cheaper than Asda for example. How? People ask. Because they have so many BOGOF deals, I only have to go once a fortnight. Granted, if you have a very specific idea of what you want each week and will only buy those items, then it may turn out to be more expensive than most places, but if you’re willing to be dictated by what they have on offer(as I am). Then it really is a bargain. Always deals on alcohol and meats which is very, very important.

This store is a joy to look round! They have a really nice size café area, with good quality food and drink, and if you shop online with them you often get 50% off the bill vouchers for free. I know some people are reluctant to pay their slightly high grocery prices but the quality really is so much better. The store is spacious and i’ve never been jostled or had to line up for long, plenty of cashiers out who are always friendly and willing to help. It has a cd/electrical/clothing section which is handy for those needed extras! There is a also Blockbuster and petrol station just on the way into the store which is a nice little time saver.

This is a small pharmacy branch located in Sainsburys in Bedminster. This pharmacy has longer opening hours than the individual pharmacies you find. It supplies a range of over the counter medicines as well as prescription medicines. The staff are friendly and helpful here.

This is well located near some other retail parks, easy access and a big car park. There is a blockbuster’s attatched to the car park and there’s a petrol station. Be very careful exiting the main car park on a motorbike, they have a very tight turn with a slanty slippery brick strip right on the apex which will have you off in the wet. There’s a large bike parking area though.

Sainsburys is becoming a reasonable alternative to Asda and Tesco as they have slashed their prices a bit lately. This Sainsburys is just across the road from Ashton Gate and had a petrol station attached to it so you can do everything at once.

This is my favourite Sainsburys! Its really well located just off Winterstoke Road in Bedminster, Bristol and conveniently has a petrol station attached. Recently they had an offer where if you spent over £50 instore you received a voucher for 5 pence off a litre of petrol — its worth checking these offers at the checkout. They also have a good range of clothing ‘tu’ and with this they seem to have twenty five per cent off sales almost every fortnight — I recently bought a skirt half price for nine pounds and a jacket which was only ten pounds! If you visit them later in the evening, they tend to put their fresh meat and fish on sale — if you like sea bass, this is a good time to visit as I regularly pick up some real bargains on the fish counter eg sea bass fifteen pence per fillet.
