What could possibly be wrong with a gym that has no contract and only costs £11 a month? Not a lot really. It’s obvious this place isn’t an Equinox or Reebok Gym but it doesn’t have the associated price tag either. I used to use this place a couple of years ago when it was a Ftiness First(which incidentally cost almost £50 a month) and a lot has changed. There are now two floors of equipment as opposed to one. The fourth floor seems to have the most cardio equipment and unfortunately it’s not Life Fitness equipment. They have a brand of equipment called Matrix which functionally is probably the same as Life Fitness but I’m not familiar yet with the user interface. Some of the recumbent cycles are positioned in such a way the screens are difficult to read in bright sunlight as they are next to a window. These Matrix machines do have one advantage and that’s that they have a built in fan that blows air on your face. The gym is open 24 hours and to gain access you enter your PIN number into the mantrap type doors at the entrance. You also have to enter the PIN when you leave which I suppose is a way they prevent multiple people using the same PIN at the same time. In short, excellent value for money.
