As, the saying, goes, Pret build a kitchen in (or very near) every shop. So, all the sandwiches and salads, are fresh. And, this branch is not an exception.
The traditional delights like the Classic Super Club and the much loved Pole & Line Caught Tuna Mayo & Cucumber Baguette, are available, here, as usual. But, what, sets this store apart is the stupendous customer service. Here, each and every Team Member is always ready to go an extra mile to make the day of their valuable customers and no wonder they have built their own loyal customer base, for whom The Mall is synonymous with Pret. Most of the Team Members here are not of English origin and their English language skills is a bit sloppy. But, they are determined to make that deficit not a barrier to deliver an absolutely lovely and brilliant service. They listen to your needs, help you to choose your food ask for any personal specifications and don’t raise an eyebrow to offer you a table service. They are polite, reasonable and completely professional. This is the only Pret where, I leave a tip. Even when you are emptying your plate in the bin, a team member will come up and take the tray from your hands with a smile and assure you, that it’s his/​her job and not yours and ask you if you need anything more! They even carry on a quality check after you seat down with your bite. Oh. I forgot. This Pret comes with an outdoor seating, as well, unlike the most of the Pret s, where there is only inside seating. The two Star members of this Store? Pietro and Marta. You will fail to spot them with a smile on their lovely faces, even when the store is completely full, outside and inside, and there is a serpentine queue in front of the tills.
Yes, they present your coffee in Cowboy Style sometimes, and that becomes an absolute visual treat. Try out the Smoked Salmon and Soft Cheese (Smoked Salmon, Soft Cheese, Cucumber, Lemon Juice, Seasoning). I find it, the best, among all the Pret s, I have visited, so far.
Tucked cosily in between the BHS and Office in the ground floor of The Mall, Cribbs Causeway Shopping Centre, this place is a must drop in, to quench your thirst and satiate your taste buds with a treat, straight from the organic nature.
