Food was really nice — we ordered a glazed burger with extra pulled pork, pulled pork club sandwich, Mac & cheese balls and deep fried gherkins. We also got a couple of Brooklyn Lagers. All cooked perfectly!
Service was good — attentive but the place only had 3 other customers in when we were in there.
I would definitely come back!

So I had to look up what the name actually meant of one of Bristol’s newest American restaurants and also what type of food they served, before a mid week visit.
It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t amazing and I wanted it to be amazing!
I expected American style portions and prices, but it was too high on one count and not enough on the other. At £4 for two the potato skins should definitely be avoided. I felt the soda pork chop should have been more filling with more vegetables/​mash and I like my chicken wings spicy and packing a punch rather than a gentle tap.
That said the brisket beef chilli was filling, the beer was good and the service attentive. Not a bad start, but I hope and think that plead the 5th will get better with time. I shall return to test it out.
