Went in there today to by a small trophy and get in engraved, the staff were so friendly and helpful, only downside was that they didn’t take cards

Instant services is just that! I took my beautiful but a little sad looking shoes to be helped and within 5 minutes they had brand new metal heals for only £5.00. The two men in there were so friendly and just whilst I waited I saw them fixing broken flip flops, heels, souls and keys.
I will be back!

Instant Services has managed to stand the test of time against the likes of Timpson thanks to their friendly staff and great location, in the heart of St Nicks Market.
As well as key cutting the other main service provided here is the fixing of shoes, which is a blessing when you own as many as I do! My flatmates and I have often taken bags of boots, heels and the like in to be resoled or reheeled and the chaps behind the counter have always been helpful. The prices are fairly average (around £4 to reheel a pair of shoes) and the service is always with a smile.
If Instant Services can’t fix whatever you bring in then they are always happy to recommend another shop that might be able to help, which is the mark of a successful and contented business. In my experience service can take a few hours depending on what you want but that gives you a chance to explore the rest of the market. You can of course drop something off and pick it up on a later date.

Sparks fly as keys are cut, the smell of boot polish is strong and there’s a constant thudding noise of metal on rubber repair work. The moustaches and overalls say it all — this is a place of work.
I’ve taken broken leather bags here, shoes and the humble key to be cut and all have been finished for me effortlessly within a couple of hours.

Sat opposite the crafty shop, this is a trusted shoe repairer (and they cut keys as well). I have taken in some unusual shoes here and they have found a way to get them fixed. Very friendly and reasonably priced as well! They are normally very busy but you can have shoes fixed while you wait — I tend to drop them in one lunchtime and pick them up in another.
