This is my favourite hairdressers this side of Bristol! The staff are really accommodating and Laura (my usual hairdresser) always has handy tips and advice for keeping my hair looking worthy of a L’Oreal advert (without pressuring me to buy the expensive products in the window display). The place itself is spotless and has a really chilled vibe. There are brilliant student discounts and even commission for recommending Illusions to friends. Typical student discounts and commision prices are half-​price hair cuts — brilliant! My hair cut usually costs about £20 for re-​shaping which i think is very reasonable. Extra points for the nibbles and drinks they offer for free!

lllusions is a unisex hairdressers located on the lower end of Gloucester Road. It is large inside, and nicely designed giving a clean, refreshing feel about it. The staff are friendly and welcoming (as you would expect from a hairdressers) and the prices aren’t bad for the area. They did a good cut, although I was only asking for a trim so I probably didn’t stretch their hairdressing talents too much!
They also stock a large selection of products, more so than in most hairdressers I have been into.
