A lovely flower shop with a fantastic selection of flowers for its size. The House of Flowers just begs for you to wander in to see and smell. The lady who runs it is helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I now know how to keep a phalaenopsis orchid alive for months!
The arrangements she chooses are always immaculately presented, distinctive and ornate. You don’t have to spend a fortune for a nice gesture for a loved one. The chilli pots outside are excellent house-warming or dinner party gifts, just make sure not to touch your eyes after touching the plants… I regret it.

House of Flowers seems to send out happy thoughts. Everytime i walk past i smile. The window display is always immaculate and changes with the seasons, feeding you with ideas of how to decorate you home whether it is Spring, Summer, Winter or Autumn.
I don’t know much about flowers and always find it difficult knowing what to choose for somebody. The lady at the shop is expert at this, and conjures up bouquets of flowers that i couldn’t have though of in my dreams.

This flower shop on Chandos Road has a really nice neighbourhood feel to it. It’s quite small, but well presented, and the lady is always very friendly and welcomes you to the shop. There’s a good selection of flowers, which obviously changed with the season, and if you give a price of how much you want to spend she’ll make you a bunch to suit your needs. It’s nice to be able to go in with a budget that suits you rather than be confronted with prices. Well recommended for all those romantic gestures.
