Headley Fish Bar will serve you up delicious, award-​winning fish and chips every time, and at very reasonable chippy prices, too — not to mention the delicious chicken and mushroom pies.
The food here is all top rate chippy fare, so I can’t really complain — but I should own up to the fact that I always have my fingers tightly crossed as I pull up here in my car, hoping the manic ‘chatty’ lady is not working on the till, because I never know what to say when she is (if, of course, I manage to get a word in edgeways). But as far as good fish and chips go, it’s honestly hard to beat — unless you’re willing to drive all the way to Glastonbury’s legendary Knights Fish and Chip Shop, (which I have been known to do).

Very firendly service! This has got to be the happiest fish and chip shop in the world, you are always greeted cheerily as you walk in, the prices are cheap, the food is very tasty.
