We recently had our kitchen fitted with Camaro and our lounge with carpet. We shopped around but found that Gordano Carpets had the most choice and knowledge for the products we required. We were very impressed with the whole process, all the staff in the shop were most helpful and really went out of their way to help us choose the right colours etc and the fitters were friendly & professional and did a super job. Next project will be our stairs and landing so we will definately be returning! Thanks Sally & Graham Portishead.

The carpet supplied was good quality, but the fitters(separate company in name but presumably family members doing the tax fiddle) were cheeky to my wife telling her to get the brews on almost as soon as they walked through the front door! They also managed to ruin our newly painted hall stairs and landing by leaving marks up the walls all the way to the second floor. Like so many Portishead businesses they haven’t a clue about client facing work and instead of apologising and offering some solution the woman in the shop kept raising her voice and talking over me defending their fitters as i tried to explain the problem. She refused to visit my home to see the evidence and have yet to offer to fix the paintwork. I shall just go elsewhere from now on, and am reluctant to use local traders because Portishead people just don’t know how to do business.

this store tends only to stock quite expensive carpets and flooring which seems to be really good quality. the store is situated on a busy high street and is really easy to get to. The shop seemed crowded and a little disorganised but they do sell some really nice carpets. the store also arranges delivery and fitting so its nice and easy to buy here. I do think that the shop would bebefit from some more affordable ranges which would make the store more apealing to many people
