Fishponds Tavern

My local which has received notoriety by being Cook’s uncle Keith’s pub in Skins season 3 (played by Geoffrey Hughes who was Coronation Street’s Eddie Yeats for those old enough to know). The sign is fantastically falling off and/​or held up with gaffa tape. I’m sure they make this worse when filming but it never looks completely smart! They were filming here last Wednesday night so certainly look out for the pub in season 4.
When it is a real pub it is an OK local, with a preference to cider including Natch on draft, cheap food which isn’t going to blow your socks off but a decent bit of grub if you only have a few pounds to spend. They have a beer garden at the back for sunny days and the TV is always on for games (they have Sky probably thanks to Channel 4 money!).
