Coopers Arms definitely has a ‘local’ vibe to it, but is friendly enough all the same. A lovely looking Victorian pub, which has retained its interior character, this place is perfect for a quiet Sunday afternoon pint. Providing, that is, that Bristol City aren’t about to play. Located just round the corner from the Ashton Gate stadium, Coopers Arms is a popular haunt for City fans and can get pretty rowdy before matches(hence why it closes after them.) Boasting a good selection of ales and a great sized beer garden, Coopers Arms caters for those elementary pub requirements. And it’s pretty cheap too.
