ok, this is a coffee shop i love but… I have been given a totally disgusting cup of liquid(which was instantly replaced with an apology,) and… they write the order on the lid in permanent marker… which I always forget and it gets on my nose. The atmosphere is, quite frankly, lovely. Its always warm and bustling with a wide range of papers scattered about. Yummy mummys abound, interspersed with an older clientele who probably actually live in the area, rather than just shopping or stopping through, but it feels welcoming nonetheless. The ‘large house coffee bottomless cup’ is definitely worth it on a cold day esp if youve managed to bag yourself one of the over sized leather armchairs… heaven. . Things that make it stand out… Excellent non and gluten-free cakes, flapjacks etc Things that could be better… Its not cheap People are often queuing out of the door. In a nutshell Go, give yourself more time than anticipated, watch out for the permanent marker.

I love this coffee shop. Have been coming here since it opened about 5 years ago, and it is still one of my favourites. They have a wide choice of drinks and more importantly cakes. But mostly I love the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The staff are really welcoming and if you don’t know anyone when you go in, you almost certainly will by the time you leave.

When a town moves as slow as this one there’s plenty of good excuse to stop and have a cuppa. Where better than the South West’s leading ethical coffee company, Coffee No.1? A fairly recent addition to the Westbury on Trym coffee scene the vibe here is definitely teetering toward the more trendy and dare I say it, classy end. Not content with your standard Earl Grey here such delights as Strawberry Frappachinos and Ice Coffee grace the multi coloured chalk board. The snacks here are also a little more Central Perk — think chocolate cake, rich creamy icing and chic looking fairy cakes. If all this glitz doesn’t entice you there’s a wonderfully colourful Latin American mural outside, no doubt hinting towards the café’s ethical coffee range.

Really nice little coffe shop. Very cozy and friendly. Large selection of coffees and cakes. Children really like the babychino which is frothy milk, baby marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles. Staff really welcoming and warm. Outside seating available, although a little cold for this weather!
