Clifton Brides

I love this place!!! I was recommended by a friend who bought her bridal gown here, so when it came to my turn to find the wedding dress of my dreams I thought I’d give it a go. I booked us a mid morning appointment which the 2^nd of 3 for us that day!
I was not disappointed at all, in fact I found my dress straight away, fell in love with it and have absolutely no regrets. The room the take you in has a rail of dresses down each side, I’m guessing there’s about 40 to choose from. You have to take your shoes off before you enter the room but this just emphasises how special these dresses are. So after a contemplation lunch, I ended up cancelling our 3^rd appointment that day, we went straight back to Clifton brides and ordered my dress!
The service is great, they give you a 1:1 service and will help you get in/​out of the dresses, whilst making recommendations that may suit you as well as advice on accessories, hair etc.
Went back this weekend, for my first fitting and I just didn’t want to leave. Obviously I’m hoping to only get married the once otherwise I think I’d be a regular at this place!

I recently said I would rather cut off my arm then get married, I did mean it though I meant rather than get married right now, I suppose one day these sorts of things will just fall into place.
Despite my feelings towards marriage there’s something that always stops me in my tracks about the window display of Clifton Brides. I guess it’s just the beautiful dresses, if I imagine them to be another colour, like green or purple they would make amazing ball gowns.
I’ve never got further than the window but do not have to tell you that this is not an option for a budget wedding, but then, who, in the very middle of Clifton has a budget wedding?!

This bridal shop is aimed at the wealthy and blushing brides of Clifton, and the price tags certainly match the area. The wedding dresses on offer here are something else, especially those by fashion designer, Ian Stewart; which are extremely detailed and beautifully shaped. Other designers’ ranges are also very beautiful but more simple.
For extremely classy bridal gowns, visit Clifton Brides, and receive excellent service and a really unusual dress. But for attire for the rest of the wedding party, you’ll have to visit elsewhere.
