Barbeque Chicken and Fish Bar has been here for what seems like forever. I remember coming here in the 80’s and the décor is still recognisable from that period. My visit this weekend was a real blast into the past!
I went for the traditional cod and chips which was £5.20. That’s quite a bit dearer than many other places around hear so I had high expectations that it would be very good. Sadly it wasn’t. The fish in particular was very disappointing, especially considering how this is a Fish Bar. The fish just didn’t taste of cod. It really could have been anything.

The chicken is 100% perfect. Fresh salad, fresh food.
From thee out side looks little ran down. But don’t let that stop you

Passing by you wouldnt stop but you wish you had! …
The food here is so freshly cooked, and reasonably priced and they do the biggest omlettes ever!!!
They will make any meal up for you here. With a massive menu to choose from for takeaway meal. Such a friendly bunch of staff aswell. Used to live nearby but even after moving out of the area we always make the effort to drive over just to get our Chicken BBQ fix :)
