This is a nice place to come to for a gentle stoll with children or older people. The paths are even and there is lots of birdlife to enjoy. There is also a very pleasant café, well worth the trip for a toasted teas-cake! It gets busy at lunch and there is a little gift shop as well. When the water is low, you can see the top of the church spire that was submerged along with the village when they created the lake which keeps the water for Bristol. There is a sailing club on the other side of the lake.
