We don’t live too close to this takeaway, yet they managed to deliver to us within 25 minutes (it was possibly less, but I wasn’t watching the time!). It costs just £1 for delivery.
Everything tasted like it was fresh, and made to be what it was supposed to be — rather than the generic stock, with individual additions we get at other chinese takeaways.
The spare ribs were to die (t) for!
Thai Green Curry was spicier than I’m used to… but I’m used to bland, one-sauce-fits-all sauces!
The portion sizes are very large — we recommend sharing some of the tubs!
Similar in price to our usual takeaway, but the taste of Beijing Express has won in our opinion.

Beijing Express boasts a very impressive takeaway menu. If you have a passion for oriental cuisine, you’ll be taken aback by the staggering range of dishes on offer at this outlet. Be prepared to choose from a multitude of seafood dishes, to roast duck delights, to vegetarian options to curry and Thai dishes (and not forgetting a bit of English stodge for good measure.) And the list goes on, and on, and on…
I opted for King Prawns in Garlic Sauce on my last visit and was every inch impressed with what I got: huge, juicy prawns cooked to perfection in a sweet, creamy garlic sauce (circa £4.50). Staff were friendly and efficient, too. Most impressed.
