Bedminster Parade Post Office & Newsagents

I do tend to usually use the post office in The Mall shopping Centre in Broadmead. But on a Saturday or bank holiday I will head to Bedminster as it just get’s far to busy for my liking.
This post office offers a friendlyer approach to posting your mail, definatley has more of a feel of a village post office than anything else, and the smiling faces to match!
With the newsagents section you will find your usual selection of crisps and chocolate and fizzy drinks.

As far as Post Offices go, this one is A-​OK (3 stars to the core). I’ve never had to queue for more than 5 minutes here, and staff tend to be helpful and professional. Remaining true to its Post Office standing, you can purchase the usual kids craft equipment and stationary, in addition to a range of sugary treats and chocolate. And if you need travel insurance, this is the place to go: you’ll be hard pushed to find anywhere that does a better deal than the trusty Post Office.
One word of warning, though. Whatever you do (and yes, I speak from experience) don’t dare to flick through the magazines whilst you’re waiting for service. Staff really don’t take kindly to this. And I quote, «We’re not a library, you know?»
