My daughter loves riding at 3 Greys. She was very nervous at first, and Sue(the proprietor) was hugely encouraging and took an interest in her progress. She had a couple of individual lessons as well as the group lessons, as obviously you can’t have 1:1 attention for very long in a group. It is very busy at the weekends and a newcomer may feel they would like more attention, but it is a friendly, efficient stables which I would recommend.

As an adult this isn’t my favourite stables in Brighton. I can only ride at weekends and the weekend facilities on offer by this stables are primarily geared towards children(am I the only adult who doesn’t have time off work in the week? !!) There is also a tendancy to do group lessons at the weekend as opposed to individual ones(which again are primarily geared towards children). That said the stables are handy for accessing from Brighton and they are chepaer than some of their competitors. The stables are clean and well managed and the horses are well kept and healthy.
