Recently came here as a group of 4, the hostess said they have a table booked at 8pm so needed it back before then, meaning it was quite rushed. All our food came before the other tables but that was because they were trying to get us out quickly… Food was okay. Needed to be seasoned a bit more but pleasant

Nice restaurant, slightly lacking in atmosphere but I was there on a thursday so not the weekend. The food was delicious and the waitresses were very welcoming and friendly. Be careful to ask if a dish contains mushrooms as my sister ordered the stuffed pepper which does not mention mushrooms at all but is packed full of them. The waitresses did however change her dish with no problems and she received another one very quickly. Worth the money i’d say and totally worth a try.

A disappointment. After reading a few good reviews I decided to try Pomegranate. No atmosphere, below par food, and to top it on the pricey side.
My main issue was with the food, the flavours did not work together, delicate seasoning regularly being over powered
Please do not get fooled by good reviews as I did. There are some fantastic restaurants on St James Street, this is not one of them

Good interesting food selection including delicious veggie options. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Lamb was really well cooked and the stuffed peppers delicious. Staff were busy, courteous and friendly. All 5 of us enjoyed our meal. Our Aussie visitor was really impressed and she has travelled a bit. It was a reasonable price we all thought and that included 2 graduates who appreciate any food thats being paid for by working Adults.

Disappointing overall experience. Ordered Steak (one of their specialities apparently) and was told that unfortunately they couldn’t find a steak knife, so was made to make do with a butter knife, service was appalling, while food was average.
Also, while the staff had enough time to talk amongst themselves, they didn’t have the time to make sure the toilets were clean, and I wish I hadn’t wasted my evening here.

Lovely middle-​eastern affair (Kurdish parhaps?) serving delicious lamb and other grilled meat dishes, divine hummous and very drinkable wine. The ambiance is chilled and quite intimate, and the service is really excellent — attentive, and very friendly. It’s deceptively large because there is an upstairs section, so we didn’t need to book. I’d come again, especially as I was too full of ale from the Hand in Hand to finish mine! Sehr schade.
