Wow! What a gem find this place is, tucked between shops on Gardner street. I highly recommend trying the many varieties of milk teas, fruit teas, amazing coffees and the rest. There really is so much choice in flavours and combinations you can make, it takes a while to decide what mixture you want to make. Children will love this as the pearls and drops(you can choose what flavour you want are chewy and zingy and they also do amazing slush drinks which are miles ahead of the slush puppies we all know. They also, very cleverly, can help you decide how sweet you want your drink and as said soo much choice. When I walked into this tiny café and started to experience(and yes it was an experience) the multitude of varieties I did feel like I was in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but swapped the chocolate for every flavour of tea you could imagine. Highly recommend for all!

This is my second visit to Pearls since discovering the joys of Bubble Tea a few weeks ago. This time I opted for the Hawaiian Tea(Passion fruit, Pineapple and Orange) with Passion fruit popping pearls. Delicious! I know some people have criticised the tea as being too sweet, but you can choose how sweet you would like it. I was pleased to discover that the milk based drinks are in actual fact Soya Milk, which is good for me as I’m not a milk drinker. The place always looks bright, airy and clean, and the staff are bubbly and helpful.

Now this is probably personal taste and maybe I picked the wrong flavour but at £3 a drink I just think this deserves 1* The juice itself is ok — but sweet an fake tasting but the pearls taste absolutely gross It is cool to see how they make the drinks up but to date my worst food purchase!

This was a lovely little find in Brighton! Inside and out the décor was bright and vibrant and clean! The staff were friendly, helpful and patient with helping us to decide on what bubble tea to try! There is a wide selection of milk tea, fruit tea, original tea and smoothies, and you could purchase additional popping pearls and flavoured jellies! We try a fruit tea which was the passion fruit and green tea, where when you crushed a passion fruit ball in your mouth, you had an amazing fresh taste of passion fruit juice bursting into mouth. The tea was very refreshing and uplifting on a nice sunny day!

This place is great, they got lots of different flavors of teas, Hawaiian ice tea my favorite and my recommendation, you can get as much tapioca as you want for free and popping pearls are only .25p each. Good service and clean.

Exactly as promised– perfect bubble milk tea. The taro and matcha are my favourites. Grab a stamp card also for free drinks :)

I love pearl drinks and was so happy that Pearls opened up in Brighton! However I’ve gone here on three to four occasions now and unfortunately have felt disappointed every time. I do appreciate the good service and free large upgrades during the week! I just find that the amount of tapioca given is small and the teas lack flavor. Comparing this place to Chatime near Churchill Square, I find Chatime’s teas much better.

Donc: let´s taste it in Paris ! Et on verra si je retrouve ce goût et cette texture que j’ai adoré sur l’original…

Very glad it’s here, have been waiting for good bubble tea in Brighton for years does the job well enough, if kind of pricey and a bit stingy with the tapioca. Still, yay bubble tea! Hope it catches on.
