As suggested, situated right on a junction but very open and plenty of vision to see traffic. The pub, we have found, very friendly. Indeed, my wife’s Brighton family hold many functions/reunions here. There is a well stocked and manned function room at the side. The prices are a little up, but what isn’t these days. Food’s pretty good. Very warm and welcoming! 28÷4÷12 Another great afternoon/evening in this very popular pub. Great service but great people. Thank you Bigtime! 08÷08÷12 Another sad Family Farewell to a Lovely Uncle! As usual The Ladies pulled out all the stops and laid on spread fit for Royalty. Thank You.

This is one of those pubs that you look at and probably carry on walking as it looks like you may end up losing some teeth once inside. Looks can be deceiving though, the building has some art deco features so does look a little intimidating but once inside, its really nice. Very spacious with a good old fashioned boozer feel about it. They have plenty of regular events here for the locals like swing and jazz nights, food nights and golf days. Its the ideal place to hire out for a function too as the staff are really friendly and helpful.

This is a largish pub located in Patcham, which is a village in north Brighton. It was built in the 1930’s and is typical of an estate pub. The is a large car park, a function hall and a beer garden. The staff are all friendly, and even when it gets busy, you never have to wait too long to be served. There are frequent special evenings ranging from quizes to karaōke and themed food evenings. The only bad thing about the place is the prices — it’s not a cheap pub
