Jeremy Hoye is one of the more upmarket jewelers in the Lanes, and offers a great variety of pieces, for both men and women. While not as old-fashioned or diamond-heavy as some of the older places just down Meeting House Lane, Jeremy Hoye’s stuff is much more modern, up to date, and just a little bit more eccentric, with plenty of colourful and vibrant pieces: a bit much for me, but not out of place in the Brightonian aesthetic. Apart from their slightly more colourful fare, there is a big selection of engagement and wedding rings: again, all a bit much for me, and very little in gold(the focus here seems to be on silver and platinum), Still, if that sounds like your sort of thing, give Jeremy Hoye a go: there are so many jewelers in Brighton, maybe this is the one for you!

Wow. I think it’s safe to say I’m a fan of pretty much everything at Jeremy Hoye. None of it’s cheap, but the design and quality is more than worth the cost. The range is mostly silver or platinum, with a little gold, and includes both male and female jewellery. There is a good choice of unusual wedding and engagement rings — ranging from the slim and classic, to the more edgy and modern. There’s a good choice of necklaces, bracelets and cufflinks, with many designs incorporating colourful stones and various types of pearls.

I’m going to have to confess that I haven’t actually yet got round to buying(or rather, yet got round to affording) anything in here — but I do frequently go and have a look at what’s on offer. The jewellery here really is different to anything else you will find elsewhere. It is so modern and original. The shop is equally modern and creates the ideal showcase for the jewellery. Collections change during the year(hence why I like to go in regularly). Some of the pieces are so unusual that it’s like looking at a jewellery display in a museum ! Of particular favourite of mine is their tulip collection — rings where the stone in them looks like a tulip ! Pieces are primarily for women — but they also stock a wide range of pieces for men(eg: rings and chains). It’s not a budget jewellers — but if I was going to be investing in a piece of jewellery this is definitely the first place I would head !
