hi mom & i booked a double mass. & facial for a special occasion, mom s birthday in feb. 2013, using a goupon offer about £18 each. i called in advance to check about stairs to climb as mom has artritic knees, plus i have a back disablity. recieved my treatment, which was ‘ok’, but mom could not climb on the massage couch, even with my help as it was too high. the suituation as very embarrising. mom was offered other treat. but we wanted massages. the manager told us they would be getting an adjustable couch about april time. this never happened. i have called in /phoned, no-one has called me to let me know any updates. this is very unproffessional. we feel unhappy about the suitation & the receptionist has refused your money back. we have not been offered any extra treatments to make up for this just left waiting. i have give the salon plenty of time, & not happy giving them negitive feedback. i wish we had never gone there!

I was interested in trying this ‘salon’ as they had a ‘2 treatments for 1′ offer. My first treatment– a half leg wax took 40 minutes, and even though the girl was pleasant, she seemed inexperienced. It was my next treatment, the ‘pedicure’ that I was the most disappointed with. The next ’therapist’ I had sat me in a chair opposite her in the reception area,(other clients were sat there waiting!) and asked me to put a foot on her lap. Not only was it uncomfortable, but quite embarrassing as I was wearing a knee length dress, and there was nothing to protect my modesty as I balanced both feet on her lap. There was no foot bowl, all she did was push back my cuticles, file and shape, then apply polish. The result was very amateur and I could have done a better job myself. I had already decided that I would not be returning. I then asked the first girl if I could pay while my toes were drying. ‘Sure’ she said and disappeared out the door and went to lunch! I went up to the counter to pay, and instead of the £30 I had been quoted the day before, I was charged £35. I politely advised her that I had been quoted £30 the day before, to which she disputed and insisted that I pay the full £35. I did tell her I would not be returning, the pedicure was uncomfortable and the customer care was terrible. All in all, a very unprofessional establishment.
