Normally really pleased with this place. But actually. Really not up for coming here again now. I ordered a chai latte. It arrived. Looked AMAZING– see pictures for visual reference… And it was cold. Let me be honest, hands up I admit I’m normally one to exaggerate. But trust me, this drink was cold. I asked my friend if theirs was the same and they agreed. I didn’t want to complain because I get embarrassed. But my friend was like, nah this isn’t good. So we managed to get another one… And the one we received was SLIGHTLY warmer. I was just like. You know what, allow this. You’ve pretty much given me a –3 centigrade drink, and now replaced it with a –1 centigrade drink. If I do go here again. I’ll ask for extra hot!

Lovely little coffee shop just outside Brighton station. When visiting we were three in our group. We ordered a variety of food and drinks. The staff was very prompt and everything tasted delicious… Will visit again when in Brighton!

Great coffee(strong and smooth) and delicious cakes– what more could you want?! The staff are very friendly and gave us some good advice when picking an afternoon cake– carrot and orange cake is sizeable but light and delicious. Its also a great place in the mornings offering lots of tasty bites(like miniture tarts with spinach egg yolks and gruyère cheese– mmmm heaven) and its nice to have some more inventive ideas for breakfast on the run(we all love a bacon sandwich but not every time!). Coho is ideally located by the station which means it gets lots of people coming in from there but still keeps its regular clientele and often has groups of mates nattering over coffee — this gives the place a bit of soul. I’d recommend coho for coffee lovers, cake lovers and breakfast lovers.

Today I’ve been at Café Coho and met up with one of my fellow Unilocalers! I’d previously been told that the coffee is great and it has a nice atmosphere, so it made sense to go here. I arrived a little early so ordered a soya latte. The girls at the counter were nice and friendly and told me they would bring my drink over to me. Unfortunately the latte was incredibly weak, even though I had ordered a double shot — I don’t like to cause a fuss, but I am very particular about my drinks so I asked one of the girls if she could put an extra shot in there, which she was more than happy to do so. She even offered to make the drink again for me from scratch but I told her she didn’t need to. I think the particular brand of coffee they use must be a weak one, as I have since had a soya flat white which also doesn’t taste very much like coffee! I haven’t sent it back this time, the staff might start to hate me! I have also got a carrot and orange cake which tastes absolutely gorgeous. I would give Coho 5 stars but I’ve had to knock one off because of the weak coffee. I’ll definitely come here again as its a really nice place, and you never know, today might have been a blip!

My favorite coffee place in Brighton(and possibly in the UK). They are located near the station. Décor/atmosphere reminds me of cafes in the States. Staff are extremely friendly. Coffee and food is nice. They have free wifi, look near the menu display/counter for the password.

A coffee shop right next to the train station that has nice coffee, good home-cooked breakfast dishes, sandwiches and cakes, and free(reliable) wifi. It’s a pretty good catch all round. The interior is delightful: old, heavy wood furnishings, in a derelict-chic style environment. Big counter to display all the cakes. Kinda modern hipster, but not too much(which is a good thing). Friendly staff. The food menu has a lot of breakfast options, all served on sourdough toast, which is also delicious. My poached eggs with bacon on the sourdough was a very good mid-morning feed. The sausages and chorizo my friend ordered looked great too. The coffee tasted a little burned, but it was nice all the same. When I’m in Brighton(usually with work) this is somewhere I will always stop by when I’m waiting a few hours ahead of my train. I encourage you to do the same!

The second Café Coho in Brighton, this — much like it’s other half on Ship Street– is a great little café! They serve the same delicious range of food and drinks and the wifi is strong and reliable, which makes this place a great working spot. The location of this café is really handy — a stones throw from the station and just minutes from the centre of town. The staff, too, are exceptionally friendly and seem happy enough for you to sit and work, so long as you buy the occasional something. The ambience of the place is great and it’s definitely a spot I’d reccommend to anyone who wants a place to work away from home or the office.
