Having just learned that Papparazzi are due to close on the 24th of this month, I am very sad to see it going. I only ate here once as part of the Stirling Brunch Club, but was incredibly impressed with all aspects of the brunch. The overall appearance of the venue was very modern and stylish. The layout was also very appealing as it felt quite secluded without being too overbearing. The staff were very friendly and were quick to take our order and get our food too us. I had pancakes with bacon and was appalled to find that the chef had pre poured the maple syrup rather than serve it with the meal. Although my outrage was short lived when I realised that the pancake/maple syrup/bacon ratio was perfect, I very much doubt that I could have seasoned the dish better myself. I will be very sad to see this restaurant close, and feel foolish for not hurting a dinner service here, as I often find the quality of a brunch service to be a good indicator that a dinner service where available will be amazing. If you get the chance to eat here, or even just want a quick coffee, I would do so while you have the chance. Paparrazi, you will be missed.

Sometimes you come across a restaurant which can do no wrong. One you know you can rely on. For me, that’s Paparazzi. Over the last few years I’ve been countless times and I’ve never once left disappointed. Underwhelmed by the Stirling Brunch Club outings as of late, we decided to take a trip to Bridge of Allan and head to Paparazzi. Their brunch menu is impressive, including a range of savoury pancakes and a benedict selection. The majority of the group went for their famous Sizzling Pig with ‘crisp, back bacon, smothered in melted cheese and topped with maple syrup.’ Whilst I’m not completely sold on the whole maple syrup-bacon combo, the pancakes looked delicious and were thin crêpe-style, resulting in maximum filling. I chose the eggs Florentine. — ‘Toasted English muffin topped with wilted fresh spinach, poached free range egg and Hollandaise sauce.’ Boy, oh, boy. Whilst the other sauce based egg dishes I’ve had on our monthly brunch ventures have fell flat,(They’re always far too salty. Always!) Paparazzi really did wow me. Not a tad more salt than necessary, just a delicious full-of-flavour Hollandaise sauce. This. This is how Hollandaise sauce is done. Next time, I’m ordering double because my single eggs Florentine went down far too easily. Mmm, mmm, mmm! Paparazzi’s somewhere I’m really going to miss when I eventually pack up by bags and leave Stirling with a degree. Hence why I’m going to make as many visits as I can in the meantime. Paparazzi, I’m literally throwing that fifth star at you!

Terrible. Ordered a steak which was served on a rectangle plate that it did not fit on, and was therefore impossible to cut. When raised with the manager we were told it was«style» and he never offered an apology.
