I find this place to be the heart of Croyde after a recent stay in the village. The staff are friendly and the food whilst some dishes are a little pricey are fresh and tasty. And if you really want to go all out try the Bannofi Pie –huge. I mean HUGE portion and worth a visit just for that! The Thatch is split in to various areas with a large restaurant, a large bar area that allows you to take your dog in when its wet and a small area of outside tables. This place is popular so it maybe worth booking a table or getting early.
Croyde is a great place to stay and The Thatch is a great place to eat drink and sleep!
