Telefix

I visted this shop today 14÷10÷09 and it was closed with a gate locked on.
I have heard that it is now a compensation claims company, however as I said it was closed.
Does anybody know who owns this and are they ever open?

This is a small shop on the main allerton road before the co-​op. It seems to have been there for years but never looks that busy.
They sell some bargain second hand tvs, videos and dvd players and the odd new one too but, they tend to do more second hand. They also sell other accessories like aerials, remotes, etc.
They offer a service of fixing and fitting tv aerials for you which is a dying art now most people have some type of cable tv and no longer need outside aerials but it is still nice to know where to have this done.
They also fix your tvs for you and dont charge that much — if it would cost too much to fix they will let you know first before going ahead and fixing it for you.
The guy who works here is very nice and friendly and happy to offer you advice on all aspects of your tv be it tuning it in to which set to buy.
