Lloyds No 1 Bar

Cold chips and onion rings. Burnt/​cremated burger and also cold (the cheese hadn’t even melted!) and some salad that is better off in the bin! Manager was polite enough to offer a refund or a replacement meal. He also offered us free drinks.
After choosing a replacement our meal came within 15 mins. It came exactly as it should have done the first time with the addition of 14 onion rings instead of the 6 we ordered. Why can’t they just make it like this all the time instead of having to complain to get a decent meal!

Nice place in town to have drinks. Recommend wine. Foods good and quickly served. Outside seating is good for smokers in the spring or summer. Also has a nice view of the city park from level one. Prices are really good.

Been here a few times and it’s alright but nothing to write home about. Yes it’s nice to sit outside and watch the giant screen in Summer if you can find a seat.
However we went in as a group just before Christmas and found it very busy downstairs so opted to go upstairs where it was a bit quieter so we could carry on chatting and socialising. Lo and behold a DJ then started up. The music was so loud that you had to shout in each others ears to be heard.
The toilets are big and fairly spacious but were very untidy with used tissues strewn all over the sink areas and near the mirrors. The bins were overflowing.
Not a pleasant atmosphere on the whole.

I think this is the most unpleasant Lloyds I’ve been to. All the bar staff were on a night out meaning that a replacement team were in that didn’t know their way around that bar.
The toilets were probably the nicest place as they seemed clean, but they also seemed to be popular with people doing coke from around the sinks.
This place definitely brings down Centenary Square.

As you would expect from this chain of cut price end of line sale pubs, full of people vying to get cheap drinks and lots of them. Visited this place on only two occasions and it’s not a very comfortable or relaxing atmosphere, as it seems to attract the wrong types to the centre of a city already struggling to attract visitors and businesses. Would not recommend this place to anyone or for that matter visit it myself again. Very rough around the edges !

Everytime i hop off the bus into Bradford I am greeted by the beautiful town hall building with this fine bar opposite. The place is great in the summer, with the option to sit outside and have a chat in the sun (on those rare occasions). It has all the drinks you can ask for and a really nice atmosphere. At weekends it’s lively enough, and whether you’re on the bottom or top floor of this place you can just sit and have a few jars. It’s also one of the rare places where the security staff are sound enough.

This is a really lovely pub in the centre of bradford opposite the town hall and where the buses all are. i say the centre because im counting the west end but it is at the bottom of the main shopping areas. They have a large outdoor area to sit and watch the big screen and popular events like the footie, etc are shown on it — its a really good atmosphere on a nice sunny day sitting with a beer in the sun watching footie with all your mates. Apart from the usual drunkard idiots it is nice and friendly and relaxing. The inside they have other large tvs scattered in the bottom and top floors so you can watch inside too. They do lovely food and lots of bargains to be had on the food and beers. I love a beer and burger for a fiver. The kiddies have to sit upstairs in the family area so that is ok. The staff are lovely and friendly and the pub is nice and spacious and clean. A good day/​night out.

It’s an average chain pub. Full of people wanting cheap drinks which is fine but doesn’t give it a particularly great feel. It’s in a good central location for drinks after work etc and you certainly won’t be too much out of pocket.
Food is average although when we ate it took a long time coming!

This lovely bar is affordable, and definitely a great place to hang out with friends. There is plenty of space– two floors inside the building and an outside seating area, so you don’t have to worry! If you’re looking for a light meal, you could order from the 2 for 1 meal as i find that the pasta tend to be a bit on the smaller side. However, the burger is perfect! The beer and other drinks are affordable and not extremely expensive. If you find yourself in city centre, don’t forget to check out this bar!

This is smack ban in the middle of bradford centenary court and thus not hard to find. I love this club as the atmosphere on a lovely sunny day when you get a cold drink and sit outside with loads of other people with the same thought — you can watch people rushing by. You have the views of the fountain over the road and also a widescreen outdoors giant tv screen to keep you from getting bored.
The club inside is on two floors — one floor is open plan and the next is where familys can go — this is quite open with a few booths too.
The toilets are upstairs but there is a lift for disabled/​pushchair access. The toilets themselves are lovely and huge — they are always kept immaculately clean.
They serve meals here with lots of deals to be had on the food which if you choose the 2 for 1 menu it is quite cheap. They do the usual pub grub — beer and burger, sandwiches, fish and chips, etc. They also do special nights like grill night/​curry night, etc.
There is a huge selection of drinks to be had — their cocktails are lovely. The prices range from cheap to steep.
Nightimes they do the odd event nights which are quite good.
There is lots of security so you can feel safe while having a good time. This club is for old and new alike.
The staff are nice and friendly too.
Outside they have outdoor heaters if you wish to sit and smoke outside.

A great pub, situated on a large terraced space with an outdoor screen perfect for summer. Inside there are two floors both with built in seating. Drinks prices are reasonable with there being a very large range of drinks available. The menu is ok although sometimes there are things on the menu which are unavailable.
