Loved it when I first went there, hasn’t been as good since but it still isn’t bad.

Lovely, tasty, authentic Japanese food, cooked fresh to order. Plenty of vegetarian choice and quite often have special offers on their website. Not keen on the whole bench style way of eating. I usually end up with the most annoying person in the world sat next to me! Atmosphere is a bit hectic and expect queues during peak times.

As noodle bars go this is a clean, quick and efficient eatery, excellent if you want a quick bite before visiting the cinema next door. The staff are friendly and the service good, but unless you really love noodles you’ll quickly tire of the menu after a few visits. Nice food though.

Wagamamas is always predictably good and the one in Bournemouth doesn’t disappoint. Yummy yaki soba and unmissable white chocolate and ginger cheesecake. Yum Yum.

Having moved here from London this was a restaurant I sorely missed. But a couple of years ago — hey presto! Wagamama on my doorstep. If you’ve never tried it — try it now! Don’t let the long canteen tables and benches put you off — and no, you don’t have to like sushi to eat here! Food is fresh, tasty and generous and all at a very reasonable price. Watch out for the Chocolate Fudge Cake — it’s addictive!
