Winton has long been crying out for a Wetherspoons. With Wetherspoons you know what you are getting. A good, cheap selection of booze and food and a place you can relax in without having your ear drums assaulted by the latest banging tunes.
This pub sits on the site of a former discount store so in a way its sticking with that theme. There aren’t many places in Bournemouth where you can get change from a fiver for a couple of drinks.
Winton is quite popular with students so expect to see a fair few of them in here during term time, goodness knows how the Hogshead just up the road is going to compete? It’s had the monopoly in this part of town for so long but that looks all set to change.
