Wonderful! We were visiting from the US and enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Lobster bisque was delicious and the breakfast was very plentiful. Staff was great, Andy was very friendly! The only downfall was no cheesecake at breakfast!

Had a lovely anniversary meal here.
The food was well cooked, nice starters and then he had lobster and I had the the crab salad. Would have liked a table with a view but one was only available if we had a main course only as they would have wanted the table back in an hour, so we settled for the non view seat.
Staff were very pleasant espeicially the waiter who knocked over my husbands beer and replaced it immediately,

If you are visiting Boscastle and fancy a spot of lunch, dinner or even just a cream tea, you must pop into the Riverside Reestaurant. They have a really comprehensive menu from local seafood to homemade steak pie and arre licensed too. If you don’t fancy a whole cooked lunch do try their hot baguettes (brie & bacon is my favourite) and their breakfasts are cooked to perfection. Evening menu is really good too. Views of the river included (plus outside garden for those afternoon teas if you fance ‘al fresco’ or have a dog with you). On Sundays you must try their carvery — super quality meat and lots of fresh veg. Do bring a good appetite with you as they do not stint on the portions. All in all, super food, well-​cooked and nicely prepared, fairly priced — certainly good value — and friendly staff.
