I was in the area and originally looking for somewhere to grab a sandwich, until l spotted the sign for the Mons Carvery on the opposite side of the motorway.
Inside looked more elegant than the outside with dark furniture & comfortable seating we where seated within minutes.
Like all Toby carvery places there was a choice of two meat’s to choose from & plenty of sides and vegetables. With prices starting at £5.99 I wasn’t expecting anything nice, but the food was good, tasty & fresh.
Definitely a place to stop by for a good value lunch
