My first visit since it became Ericos. I went when it was Latino lounge and didn’t have a great experience so wasn’t looking forward to it — I believe it’s the same people just a different name but I could be mistaken. Either way the experience was good. It was a quick family meal, just main courses and garlic bread and everybody was happy. The four main courses were all different and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. I had risotto al fungi: mixed mushrooms, onions, asparagus and garlic in a cream sauce. It was devine and only £7.20, very good value for money. The garlic bread was fabulous too, not too greasy, perfect.

Food is fairly average, but decent enough. Been a few times as is just round the corner. Also do a deal on a Monday which is 3 courses for £12, you can also add steak etc for a few quid more. Good for a mid week meal out.

Yes yes I know, another 4 star review from Matt *eye’s roll* but truth be told, Erico’s is another 4 star place! It’s a really nice place and the food is good — I had Tagliatelle Della Casa which in their words is ribbon pasta cooked with chicken, ham and peas in tomato cream sauce — all I know is it was very tasty. If I’m being picky there could have been a higher chicken to pasta ratio but none the less a great dish. I came with my family for my brothers birthday and each enjoyed their dish; my dad had Linguine Con Gamberoni — prawns and scallops with linguine, my mum a Risotto and the little brother a pizza — everything spot on! In a decent spot for a date night, a family me as I did, or somewhere to grab a quick meal before a night out as there are several nice pubs nearby. It’s not setting the world alight, but with an extensive menu, competitive prices and good quality food, Ericos is a solid bet.

Came here with bf’s mother on Mother’s Day and it was relatively quiet in the large and pleasant interior although we were quite early. Service was attentive and efficient throughout. I didn’t think the food was amazing and the large menu includes some random dishes e.g. Mexican that make it pretty obvious they are not trying to be an authentic trattoria etc. Nevertheless, the garlic bread with tomato was fine and although I didn’t like the slight sour sauce on our prawns very much, they were at least good-sized ones. Overall though, that starter is not good value at over £7 for 4 prawns. For my main I got cannelloni which wasn’t greatly above supermarket ready meal standard but you can’t go too wrong with meat, melted cheese and tomato. My bf’s mum had ravioli which was served on a massive plate covered in orange sauce — I thought it looked like it had way too much sauce and also the colour was weird. However, she ate it all so it can’t have been that bad! Boyfriend’s pizza looked ok but due to his hangover he didn’t even get through half!

I went to Erico’s for the first time last weekend with my family. My first impressions are its good… But not that good. We went on a Saturday night and it was heaving. Every table was full which is good to see but note that booking is a must at weekend. The service at first was quite slow to bring over drinks, however it was excellent after that. I ordered a soup starter and a rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce as main. Now the food was good but unfortunately it wasn’t ‘wow’. Another gripe I had was you could choose either veg or chips when I think it should be served with both. The prices aren’t unreasonable but for £18−20 a steak I would expect more of a wow factor. Overall I would say very good service but the food could be improved slightly and mains should be served with veg and chips as standard!

I visit Ericos quite often as it is close to my home. I love it there, the food is very good and the restaurant is well decorated. Brilliant atmosphere. Highly recommend!

After hearing mixed reviews on Erico’s, I thought I would give the place a try! I went with a few friends and in the end was better then I first expected! The service was very good and friendly and the food was quick to come and was really nice! The only downfall I would say is that it’s a little bit expensive compared to other Italians in that area.

Latino lounge is now ERICOS, popular Italian with the locals ! Went here after a christening. Service was excellent considering the amount of us. Very warm welcoming and friendly staff. I was impressed to see the amount of sea food choices. I am a big fan of mussels so I went all out and had them both for starter and main — delish my partner had peppercorn steak it was nicely cooked and the sauce was on point. One negative seemed pritty pricey from when I have previously been.
